The Designers Ink team have recently been working on the re-branding of LBM, a business management company who cater to the specialist needs of those working in the sports music and entertainment industry. As well as re-branding the company a suite of stationery was also designed.
Our creative team linked up once again with the University of Limerick to design the logo for the university’s First Seven Weeks programme. The initiative is aimed at supporting UL students through the initial term of their first year of university.
We completed the development of an e-commerce website for Doo-Lally.com, which also included the design and development of flash animation throughout the site. We were also responsible for the naming, branding, radio advertising, online advertising and also the design of weekly e-zines.
We recently designed the new identity for Fitzgibbon O’Riordan Solicitors. A suite of stationery was also designed and the new identity will soon be rolled out on their new website, signage and corporate material. This Limerick based practice is one with a national client base providing legal advice to the SME and property sectors. The partnership comprises of Caroline Fitzgibbon and Jennifer O’Riordan.
We recently designed and produced a Graduate Research book for the University of Limerick.
Novas are a voluntary agency working with families, single people and unaccompanied minors who are disadvantaged and socially excluded; primarily those who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. They offer client centred services and promote social justice. Novas approached us to design and produce their first Annual Report which was launched in October 09 by Minister Willie O’Dea.
Back in January of this year it was announced that we were awarded our third award – an International Design Award in Logo Design by American design magazine HOW. We are, once again the only design company in Munster to have recognised by this highly acclaimed design magazine and we were the only Irish winner this year. Other winners were from the US, Hong Kong and Australia.
The logo itself was for Missy Gray Interior Design who are based in Ennis, Co. Clare. Missy Gray specialise in both commercial projects and offer a fresh and innovative approach to interior design. They pride themselves on fusing an eclectic quirky mix of the modern and old with some antique styles so the concept behind the logo was to create a chandelier shape from other pieces of recognisable furniture – a lamp, table and chair. The chosen font gives a comtemporary edge to the delicate form of the logo mark.
This year we’re celebrating a decade in business…yes, 10 years of creativity! We can’t believe it either! What a decade it’s been…with 2 national awards and 1 international awards and our new offices, we feel we’ve achieved alot in this short space of time!
We recently moved into our new offices – a renovated 300 year old building at 3 Church Street, King’s Island – right in the heart of the Medieval Quarter in Limerick City. We now have a studio that we feel best reflects where we are as one of the most well established design consultants in the mid-west region.
