Anthony Foley Testimonial
Anthony Foley is one of Ireland's most renowned professional rugby players who retired from the game this year. Anthony is best known for his position as number eight with both Munster Rugby - the most successful team in European rugby - and also with the Irish national team. In return for the great Foley moments that Anthony gave his fans, a testimonial was held over 3 days in May 2008 to raise money for charity. A logo was needed to brand the events which included a Golf Classic, "This Is Your Life" and Gala Dinner.
We cleverly used the two "O's" in Anthony Foley to create a typographic solution illustrating the number eight. The end result is a distinctive logo that was used on all promotional material used in conjunction with the event. These promotional pieces included a corporate folder with booking forms, a souvenier programme, exhibition stand, ticket pack, VIP name cards and corporate golf gifts. We also designed branded gift boxes that were made specifically to house corporate gifts which were placed on the tables at the gala dinner.
